- Get up and move quickly to the nearest, most substantial building.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth.

- Do not touch any fallen objects.

Securing shelter before fallout arrives.
- Move to the most central area of the building or basement.
- Stay away from windows and doors.
- Turn off all ventilation systems.
- Begin to seal the room.

- Seal clothing in a plastic bag, away from people.
- If possible, take a shower or wipe down with a wet cloth.
- Turn on your emergency radio.
