  • Do not touch any fallen objects.

Securing shelter before fallout arrives.

  • Move to the most central area of the building or basement.
  • Stay away from windows and doors.
  • Turn off all ventilation systems.
  • Begin to seal the room.

  • Remove outer layer of clothing.
  • Seal clothing in a plastic bag, away from people.
  • If possible, take a shower or wipe down with a wet cloth.
  • Turn on your emergency radio.
